Eurofins Scientific is a global leader in life sciences and analytical testing services, operating a decentralized network of over 950 laboratories worldwide. They are seeking an L3 Operations Senior Compute Engineer to join their growing international infrastructure team in Coimbatore. In this role, you will drive major IT infrastructure transitions and maintain newly deployed segregated IT user zones and application availability groups. Supporting daily compute operations in a complex hybrid environment spanning Azure Cloud and local Hyper-V infrastructures, you will collaborate with global teams to ensure security, compliance, and optimized performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, combined with 5+ years of experience managing compute infrastructure with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies.
• Deep hands-on experience in managing Hyper-V environments, including failover clustering, live migration, and complex storage management.
• Proven engineering experience with Microsoft Azure compute services, alongside scripting proficiency in PowerShell (experience with Azure CLI and ARM templates is highly preferred).
• Strong foundational knowledge of Windows Server administration, network topologies, print server environments, and enterprise-level troubleshooting.
• Practical experience with backup and disaster recovery strategies across hybrid environments, preferably using Veeam.
• Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to create clear technical documentation and present infrastructure projects in meetings.
